                                             Danny Ortiz AKA Danny G, was born in Austin Texas in 1976.  At  

                                  the age of four Danny was singing from time to time in his uncle’s

                                  nightclub in Houston TX.  Club Madrid, where Kenny Rogers had

                                  his first paying work as an entertainer.  Danny’s family was involved

                                  in the Latin music scene in the Corpus Christi TX area. 

                                  When Danny was 12, he started experimenting with vinyl and

                                  turntables for the first time.  He and two friends pitched in on some

                                  equipment and started doing middle school parties and dances.   At the age of 17 Danny moved to The San Francisco Bay area, where he was influenced by radio personality Steve Masters.  Steve did a “Mix Show” on the radio.  He was also influenced by Jose Melendez on radio station KMEL San Jose’s #1 station.  Danny said that some day he would work with Jose.  Four years later, this goal came true.

Danny had been working in and around the bay area at various clubs, and having resident DJ status at Tequila Willies, Charlie's, and D-Tour.  He had also found a home at the Vinyl Shop (DJ’s at work,) where he worked on projects such as Hits of XTC, 1, 2, &3, released through Strictly hits in San Francisco CA.

After his record deals, Danny received airtime exposure on Bay area radio stations KWIN & KWLD (Wild 94.9 FM.)  His responsibilities were DJing and producing the “Live Mix Shows” for these stations.

Danny and his family moved to the Tri-Cities in 2001, and have been working in and around this area’s scene since.  In this area, he has been the resident DJ at Coco Loco, and the vinyl artist at Boat Race Party Central II,  III, IV & V, as well as Phase III, a local teen club that was sponsored by Desert Streams Bible Church.

Danny has gotten favorable reviews from the Cathedral of Joy, and every other Job he has been sent out on.  His promotion skills have come in very helpful with the “In Da Club dance series at the Celebrity Bowl.

Danny worked at the Promotions Manager for Joker’s Lounge in

Richland WA, until he left to pursue other endeavors.  Danny was

instrumental in securing and building “The Jungle”  Danny has

been responsible for promoting for The Jungle, live acts such as

The 2Live Crew, E-40 and others.                                                

Danny was the main DJ at the Coolio concert, and Tri-City Fever

victory party.  Danny has also maintained the graphic arts for this

company, with the exception of this website.
