In addition to playing music, your Dance Machine DJ will act as master of ceremonies. We are comfortable speaking in public and will keep your guests involved throughout your event. We will gladly handle any announcements and pride ourselves in our ability to keep your event organized and running smoothly.

What music will my DJ bring to my event? TOP

At The Dance Machine we currently have over 5,000 song titles in our music library, and we add over 250 new song titles each and every month. Our music library spans over 8 decades so regardless of the type of music you would like hear, we will be able to satisfy your needs. All of these songs are cataloged on a computer database. When you hire us to perform at your event we bring our entire collection, unless you select a package with a "lite" library, so when your guests make requests we are able to instantly confirm and locate their selection.

Does my DJ take requests ? TOP

At The Dance Machine our DJs gladly take requests. Keep in mind that this is your event, so why settle for a DJ that wants to play only what they like.

Will you purchase music requests that are not already available? TOP

With over 5,000 song titles currently available the chances are that we already have your request. But in the unlikely event we would not, we will be more than happy to locate it without any additional charge, providing the track in question is still in print. The only thing we require is that you list any such requests on the appropriate event planner and submit this at least 2 weeks prior to the date of your event.

How will my DJ be dressed? TOP

Whether your event is formal or casual, your DJ will always be dressed appropriately. From tuxedos to khakis we will be happy to accommodate your desires. Weddings however, always include formal attire.

Do you provide crowd participation activities? TOP

We have developed several activities that are designed to motivate and encourage your guests to have fun.

What types of parties do you specialize in? TOP

We have provided DJ entertainment for 1,532 events, such as school dances, weddings, and corporate events, and 3,114 nights of nightclub service, our specialty is solidly divided between school events and wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions.

What type of equipment do your DJs provide? TOP

At The Dance Machine we use only state of the art professional DJ equipment. All of our systems are designed by highly skilled sound and lighting engineers. This type of commitment to excellence is unsurpassed by any other DJ company in this area.

Will I have a written contract? TOP

Would you purchase on automobile without one? I would hope not. Yet all the time we hear horror stories about clients that spend thousands of dollars on a dance, wedding, or social event, only to hire a disc jockey without a written contract. If your DJ is not willing to provide you with a written commitment, then Tell them "No Thanks". At The Dance Machine, we will ALWAYS provide you with a written contract.

How much does your disc jockey service cost? TOP

You might be surprised how little the difference in cost between a low budget, inexperienced DJ and a highly qualified professional. Our rates are very competitive and we will be more than happy to discuss your event with you and quote you a price. Please feel free to contact us or check out our prices.

Do You Price Match your competitors? TOP

No we do not. Our prices are very competitive. Any slightly higher price we ask for, is because of our experience, and our superior equipment. Buying entertainment, is not like buying a light bulb. Entertainment is art, timing, and skill. We will however challenge our competition.

Do you have a song list that you could send me? TOP

We do not print and mail a song list because it would be far too costly. But if you would like, we can email you our song list in either Excel Spreadsheet files. Just call or send an

e-mail.

After the contract is signed, when is the balance due? TOP

Your balance is due on your event date unless other arrangements are made.

Could I come to one of your performances or get some references? TOP

You may come to one of our public performances. We don't want to isolate you from what we do best! We can give you as many references as you want and if you would like to come to one of our performances, just e-mail us, or give us a call.

Who will be my DJ and DJ assistant? TOP

Your DJ will more than likely be DJ Scramble (George) or one of the capable people we have working with The Dance Machine. The DJ assistant will be one of the three Dance Machine assistants. It depends on their schedules.

How loud do you play your music? TOP

We play our music as quiet or as loud as you want it, within reason. The dance machine currently owns 26,000 watts of sound power. We do practice �safe sound.� This company has the capability to shake the foundation of any building in this area. The music volume depends on the tastes of the crowd, the event planner, and the facility.
